My aim is to offer insightful, straightforward commentary on different raid strategies, class roles, and boss encounters, particularly from the perspective of casual raiders like myself.

I consider myself a “casual” raider, which means that I balance my time between my real-life commitments—work, family, the usual adult stuff—and my love for raiding. I’m not gunning for World First titles or high-end Mythic progression, but I do enjoy the challenge of Heroic and sometimes Mythic raids when I can find the right group of people to run with. My guild, Grim Resolve, is a laid-back but serious team that regularly dives into Heroic and Mythic content. We’re based on the Moon Guard server, and though our progression isn’t lightning fast, we’re proud of what we accomplish together.

Being a casual raider doesn’t mean I’m not invested in getting better or learning more about the game. On the contrary, I spend a lot of time analyzing encounters, reading up on class changes, and even watching streams of top-tier raiders to pick up tips and tricks. What I bring to the table is an accessible approach. Not everyone has the time or dedication to raid for hours on end, and my content is meant to help those who want to get better at the game without sacrificing their entire schedule to it.

I’m also passionate about keeping the community informed about important game changes, patch notes, and upcoming content. Whenever there’s a new expansion or raid tier announced, you can bet that I’ll be diving in to offer my thoughts and predictions on how it’s going to shake up the game.

My philosophy toward WoW and raiding is simple: It’s about fun and teamwork. Sure, we all want to down the bosses and get the shiny loot, but for me, the most rewarding part of raiding is the camaraderie. That’s one of the main reasons I love being in Grim Resolve. Our guild has been together for a few years now, and while people come and go, the core group has remained consistent. We’re a diverse bunch—some of us are engineers, others are artists, and a few are even game developers. When I’m not raiding or writing for the blog, I’m probably tinkering with tech in some way. That’s actually where the blog’s name comes from—it’s a nod to my earlier days when I was heavily involved in tech and coding. I still dabble in that world from time to time, but WoW has definitely taken over as my primary creative outlet.

In the future, I plan on expanding the site to include more video content. I’ve been toying with the idea of creating casual raid guides on YouTube—something that would complement the blog. The guides would focus on strategies that are easy to understand and implement, catering to both new and veteran players who might not have the time to sit through long, detailed breakdowns. Quick, effective, and to the point—that’s the goal.
